Hilton has officially announced the upcoming debut of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in Texas with the signing of Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country and Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country, set to open in 2027 near Fredericksburg.
Developed in partnership with Wine Country Hospitality Partners LLC, the new luxury resort and branded residences will introduce Waldorf Astoria’s signature elegance to Texas Hill Country’s renowned wine region, located under two hours from Austin and San Antonio.

The expansive 106-acre resort will feature 60 hotel rooms and suites, 37 rentable multi-bedroom villas, and 50 private residences—the first Waldorf Astoria Residences in Texas.
The residential options will include custom-designed estates and villas, offering owners exclusive amenities, Hilton Honors Diamond status, and full access to the resort’s luxury services.
Guests and residents will enjoy five food and beverage venues, an 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, two resort pools, sports courts, a Kids Club, and roughly 6,000 square feet of meeting space including a 4,000-square-foot event barn.
The design, led by Studio CABAN, TIPLER Group, and others, will reflect Fredericksburg’s architecture and natural surroundings, blending modern luxury with local character.
The hotel is part of Hilton’s larger luxury expansion and will join a global portfolio of 30+ Waldorf Astoria properties, with more than 30 others in the pipeline.
Hilton already has nearly 600 hotels operating in Texas and nearly 240 more in development, making this launch a milestone for both the brand and the state’s growing luxury travel scene.
