The exhibition will rotate through three uniquely themed shows, each highlighting Bensley’s artistic flair and passion for storytelling, while supporting causes close to his heart. Proceeds from the artwork sales will fund community programs in Cambodia and Laos, aligning with Bensley’s enduring commitment to environmental and humanitarian efforts.
Exhibition Highlights:
1. New Paintings by Bill Bensley (January 10-30, 2025)
Bensley’s first collection of 2025 celebrates the diversity of landscapes and cultures he encountered during his travels. The dynamic pieces reflect his love for nature and cultural idiosyncrasies.
Proceeds will support education for deaf children in Luang Prabang and underprivileged young adults attending the Shinta Mani Hospitality School Class of 2025 in Siem Reap.
2. The Ring of Fire (January 31 – February 27, 2025)
This collection explores Earth’s fiery forces, drawing inspiration from natural gas fires in Uzbekistan to active volcanoes in Japan, Korea, and Indonesia.
The art captures the raw beauty of fire, lightning, and volcanoes. Proceeds will go toward providing milk, clean water, toilets, and housing for underprivileged families in Cambodia.
3. Call of the Cardamoms (February 28 – April 20, 2025)
This powerful collection unites global artists and artisans to spotlight the endangered species of the Cardamom Rainforest, Southeast Asia’s last remaining green lung.
The show underscores the urgency of conservation efforts in a region facing threats from illegal logging and climate change. Proceeds will directly support the preservation of the rainforest through partnerships with the Shinta Mani Foundation and Wildlife Alliance.
A Philanthropic Mission Through Art
Bensley’s passion for art goes beyond creativity, serving as a powerful vehicle for change. One hundred percent of the proceeds from his exhibitions will fund critical projects in Southeast Asia, from education to environmental conservation. Bensley emphasized that each piece of art tells a story and invites viewers to reflect on the richness of the world around them.
