Marriott International has announced plans to bring The Ritz-Carlton brand to Serbia, marking its debut in the country with the anticipated opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Belgrade in 2027. The luxury hotel will feature 193 guest rooms and suites, The Ritz-Carlton Club, two dining venues, a spa, fitness center, and over 1,700 square meters of event space.
Located on Nikola Tesla Boulevard along the Danube riverfront, the property will be part of a revitalization project at the site of the former Hotel Jugoslavija. The development includes residential and office towers, a marina, a promenade, and a conference center, transforming the area into a luxury destination.

Ivan Bošnjak of Danube Riverside d.o.o. Beograd, Marriott’s local partner, highlighted the project’s impact on Belgrade’s global reputation and local economy.
Belgrade’s strategic location and vibrant cultural scene make it an ideal setting for The Ritz-Carlton. The hotel will join Marriott’s existing properties in Serbia, including The St. Regis Belgrade and Moxy Belgrade, further solidifying the brand’s presence in the region.
