The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (HSH), owner of The Peninsula Hotels, has announced that Mr. Benjamin Vuchot will take over as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on March 3, 2025, succeeding Mr. Clement King Man Kwok. Mr. Vuchot will also join the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and Group Management Board, and serve as a Director of several of the company’s entities.
Mr. Kwok will step down from his CEO role on October 31, 2024, after which he will remain on the Board as an Executive Director and advisor until the company’s Annual General Meeting in 2025.

During the interim period, from November 1, 2024, to March 2, 2025, Ms. Christobelle Yi Ching Liao, Executive Director and Chief Corporate and Governance Officer, will serve as Interim CEO.
Mr. Vuchot brings over 30 years of experience in the luxury retail industry, having held key positions at Richemont and LVMH. His career includes leadership roles at Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, DFS Group, and Sephora.
Most recently, he served as Chairman and CEO of DFS Group. Mr. Vuchot holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing from ESSEC Business School in France.
