The Peninsula London Debuts The Macallan Red Collection Experience
The Peninsula London proudly announces the introduction of The Macallan Red Collection Experience, making it the premier venue in Europe to showcase this prestigious whisky collection.
This collaboration signifies a historic partnership between two renowned brands, demonstrating a mutual respect for innovation and excellence in craftsmanship.
The Macallan Red Collection comprises seven rare single malts: The Macallan 40 Years Old, The Macallan 50 Years Old, The Macallan 60 Years Old, and four limited high-aged releases – The Macallan 71 Years Old, The Macallan 74 Years Old, The Macallan 77 Years Old, and The Macallan 78 Years Old.

The collection’s name and distinct hue pay homage to the distillery’s founder, Alexander Reid, with ‘Reid’ translating to ‘Red’ in Scots, a symbolic color in The Macallan’s heritage.
Guests at The Peninsula London can savor these exceptional whiskies through individual drams or as a comprehensive tasting flight. The experience is enhanced with The Macallan Lalique glassware and red leather coasters, crafted in collaboration with Linley.
Guided by expert mixologists, the tasting includes a bespoke Macallan-based cocktail, palate cleansers, and canapés curated by Brooklands’ culinary team to complement the whiskies. Each guest will also receive a set of tasting notes and a gift box containing a Macallan crystal tumbler.
Exclusively available at Brooklands Bar, the experience is set against the stunning backdrop of London’s skyline. Brooklands’ design draws inspiration from iconic British motoring and aviation history, creating an ambiance that reflects the luxury and sophistication of The Macallan Red Collection.
