The 125-room property, set to open in the following weeks, marks Hilton’s foray into the premium economy segment in Europe, through a franchise agreement with Romford South Ltd.
Following the successful launch of the first Spark by Hilton in 2023, the brand has swiftly expanded, with over 30 operating hotels and more than 175 under development. Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development EMEA at Hilton, expressed excitement about Spark by Hilton’s European debut, noting its promising trajectory in redefining the premium economy segment with a focus on guest value and owner returns.
