Sofitel has launched the Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel & Spa in Benin, West Africa, marking its 16th property on the continent.
This flagship hotel blends French luxury with Beninese culture, showcasing Sofitel’s signature elegance while reflecting local traditions.
The hotel is located in Cotonou, a vibrant economic hub, offering easy access to major attractions and Cotonou International Airport.

This five-star property spans 29 hectares of lush parkland, featuring 198 rooms and suites with stunning views of the ocean and city.
Guests can enjoy diverse dining options, including a brasserie by Michelin-starred chef Georgiana Viou, as well as a Mediterranean restaurant, Levantine cuisine, and a chic nightclub.
The hotel also boasts a KOS Paris spa and Cotonou’s largest convention centre, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers.
The opening is part of Sofitel’s strategic expansion in Africa, a region poised for rapid growth in tourism and urban development.
