America’s fastest-growing sport, pickleball, has arrived at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, which has added four new courts for guests, Four Seasons private residents, and members of Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando.
These new pickleball courts are conveniently located next to the resort’s two Har-Tru tennis courts.
Sarah Peltier, Director of Recreation, shared her excitement about expanding the resort’s sports offerings with the popular paddle sport, saying that the addition complements an already extensive range of activities for those seeking an active getaway.
Alongside tennis, golf, fitness classes, and swimming, guests now have another way to stay fit and engaged.
In addition to the physical activities, Derek Hofmann, Senior Director of Spa, highlighted the array of recovery-focused treatments available at The Spa, including deep tissue massages, cupping, IV hydration, and the new Aescape robotic massage.
These services are ideal for post-sport relaxation and recovery, enabling guests to enjoy a complete wellness experience.
Pickleball, a blend of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, uses a smaller court and lighter paddles, making it accessible for players of all ages and skill levels. Guests can play using Holbrook’s custom pickleball paddles or bring their own.
The resort also offers clinics, private lessons, and rentals, led by Director of Racquet Sports, Alain Labrecque, who ensures everyone—from beginners to seasoned players—enjoys the game.
The Spa offers an extensive menu of luxurious treatments, including the Collagen Contour Facial, Ayurvedic therapies, and a Healing Honey Massage, as well as amenities like zero-gravity loungers, whirlpools, and steam rooms. Guests with 50-minute treatments or longer gain access to the adult-only Oasis Pool, an idyllic way to spend the day in comfort.
Situated on 26 lush acres, Four Seasons Resort Orlando is known for its wellness and recreation focus. Along with pickleball, the resort offers an 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio, a fitness center with on-demand classes, jogging trails, and a variety of pools, including a lazy river and lap swimming at the adult pool.
Members of the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club enjoy additional perks, including unlimited sports access, fitness classes, and exclusive events.
This season is a great time to visit Four Seasons Orlando, with special experiences like a new adult speakeasy bar, a retro roller rink coming in December, and the ongoing #FSOrlando10 celebration.
