Moxy Hotels makes its debut in Spain with Moxy Barcelona, offering 414 stylish rooms, vibrant social spaces, and Catalan-inspired design in the lively Sants neighborhood.

Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, has made its debut in Spain with the highly anticipated opening of Moxy Barcelona.

Located in the vibrant Sants neighborhood, the hotel is perfectly positioned as a base for exploring the city’s cultural and architectural landmarks. The opening also marks Moxy Hotels’ 10th anniversary, celebrating its signature fun, vibrant atmosphere.

The hotel’s design draws inspiration from the city’s festive energy, incorporating Catalan influences like trencadís ceramic mosaics and nods to iconic artists Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, and Antoni Gaudí.

Guests are welcomed with a tea-infused floral mocktail, the ‘Fouxy Moxy,’ at Bar Moxy, the social hub of the hotel. The adjoining Moxy Lounge offers a lively space for socializing, while digital nomads can enjoy the stylish coworking area, Library and Plug-in.

Moxy Barcelona features 414 sleek, modern guestrooms with keyless entry, plush bedding, modular furniture, and 55-inch HD Smart TVs. Each room is uniquely decorated with murals by local artist Sira Lobo, highlighting different Barcelona neighborhoods. Many rooms also feature private balconies, providing guests with panoramic views of the city.

The hotel’s tenth-floor rooftop, opening in 2025, will offer a Mediterranean restaurant, a chic cocktail bar, and a chill-out space designed by the founders of Barcelona’s iconic Paradiso bar.
