Marriott International has announced plans to open The Shanghai EDITION, Changfeng Park, marking the second EDITION property in the city. Scheduled to debut in 2026, the luxury hotel will be developed in partnership with New Development Group and aims to redefine urban luxury in Shanghai’s dynamic Putuo District.
Nestled alongside Suzhou Creek and adjacent to the verdant Changfeng Park, the hotel will offer a seamless blend of serene park-side views and access to Shanghai’s vibrant commercial area. The EDITION brand’s hallmark of refined design, impeccable service, and a deep connection to local culture is set to create a distinctive destination for both leisure and business travelers.

The Shanghai EDITION, Changfeng Park will feature 278 elegantly designed rooms and suites, many offering breathtaking views of Suzhou Creek and its surrounding greenery. The property will house three bespoke restaurants, two sophisticated bars, a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and a spa, providing an indulgent urban retreat. Designed by the internationally acclaimed architecture firm SCDA, the hotel will reflect EDITION’s commitment to timeless design and sustainable innovation.
The hotel will also cater to business needs, offering multiple meeting studios equipped for corporate events and social gatherings.
