Marriott International and MGM Resorts International have announced the conversion of an iconic Las Vegas Strip property into W Las Vegas, set to debut later this year.
This move is part of the companies’ strategic licensing agreement unveiled in July 2023, expanding the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy® and introducing a new luxury lifestyle experience to Las Vegas.

“We’re excited to bring the globally recognized W Hotels brand to the legendary Strip,” said Leeny Oberg, CFO and EVP of Development at Marriott.
The new W Las Vegas will be located on the Mandalay Bay Campus, offering luxury accommodations and dynamic programming designed to elevate the travel experience.
Since the launch of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy in March 2024, the partnership has exceeded expectations, with hundreds of thousands of room nights booked. W Las Vegas will join other MGM properties within Marriott’s portfolio, including Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
