Munich, Germany – Mandarin Oriental, Munich has announced a special Oktoberfest package, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the world’s most famous beer festival. From September 21st to October 6th, Munich’s Theresienwiese will be transformed into a lively festival ground for the 189th Oktoberfest.
In collaboration with Heimatglück Tracht, renowned for their bespoke Bavarian attire, Mandarin Oriental offers guests a unique opportunity to don traditional Dirndl and Lederhosen. Guests can enjoy a private in-room shopping experience or visit Heimatglück’s flagship store for a personalized fitting, ensuring they are perfectly attired for the festivities.

The package includes transfers in an authentic vintage bus, complete with beer and pretzels, and two tickets to one of the coveted Oktoberfest tents. Guests will enjoy a Bavarian feast, featuring dishes like roast chicken, pretzels, and pork knuckle, while dancing to traditional brass bands.
Accommodation options range from elegant rooms with city views to the luxurious 325 sqm Grand Presidential Suite. The experience also includes a full daily breakfast and a selection of Bavarian delicacies served in-room upon arrival.
Additional experiences include a luxury scenic flight with Alpenair and a hat-making session with Fatzke, allowing guests to create a personalized Bavarian hat.
Oktoberfest highlights include the grand entrance parade on September 21, a traditional attire parade on September 22, and a fireworks display on October 6 to close the event.
