Grain Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, renowned for its innovative mixology and lively bartenders, hosted a spectacular event last week for the launch of the latest fragrance by Initio Parfums Privés. The event, titled “A New Matrix of Greatness,” marked the debut of Oud For Greatness, NEO Eau de Parfum, a scent inspired by the modernity and freshness encapsulated in its name. This new fragrance features a vibrant blend of bergamot, balsam fir, and lavender designed to uplift energy and boost confidence.
The launch event attracted a premium crowd, including luxury editors, media personalities, influencers, and industry executives. Attendees were treated to a mysterious and exclusive experience from the moment they arrived at the iconic front driveway of the hotel, where a white-gloved hand from the porte-cochere authorized their entry into Grain Bar.

Inside, Grain Bar’s warm, wood-grained ambiance was transformed with neon green lights, black furnishings, and gilded gold accents. Guests were entertained by a live contortionist and a trendy DJ, adding to the edgy atmosphere of the evening.
Complementing the theme, Grain Bar’s expert mixologists crafted a bespoke menu of vibrant green cocktails inspired by the fragrance notes of NEO. Standout creations included the Drizzling Forest, a blend of gin, lychee, bergamot, and tonic, and the Valley of Flower, featuring vodka, elderflower, lavender, cucumber, and mint.
Culinary delights were provided by the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney chefs, who recently collaborated with renowned brands such as Balenciaga and Parfum de Marley. Guests enjoyed a selection of color-coordinated canapés, including bite-sized tuna tartare with puffed tapioca, Tasmanian pepperberry and goat cheese charcoal cones, and salt and pepper quail “tulips.”
