Los Cabos has achieved a culinary milestone with its inclusion in the first-ever MICHELIN Guide for Mexico.

The guide recognizes 13 restaurants across the destination, highlighting Los Cabos’ diverse gastronomic offerings, which range from fine dining to sustainable and affordable eateries.

Concina de Autor, located at Grand Velas Los Cabos and led by master chefs Sidney Schutte and Francisco Sixto, earned a prestigious MICHELIN Star.

This accolade underscores the restaurant’s dedication to using high-quality ingredients, delivering flavorful dishes, and maintaining consistency.

Two restaurants, Flora’s Field Kitchen and Acre, were awarded MICHELIN Green Stars for their commitment to sustainable gastronomy and ethical practices.

Flora’s Field Kitchen, led by chef Rebecca Weitzman, and Acre, helmed by chef Arturo Rivero, stand out for sourcing local products from their own farms, supporting local producers and artisans, reducing waste, and fostering community support.

Additionally, Flora’s Field Kitchen and Metate, led by chef Abraham Tamez, received MICHELIN Bib Gourmands for providing exceptional gastronomic experiences at affordable prices.

Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board, expressed pride in the recognition: “We are honored to have so many deserving restaurants in Los Cabos recognized in the first MICHELIN Guide Mexico. Los Cabos’ diverse landscape, natural ecosystems, and unique location have positioned the destination as the largest producer of organic produce in Mexico.

The destination’s regenerative farming and sustainable fishing practices allow local restaurants and chefs to provide fresh-caught seafood that is locally sourced and organic produce that inspires renowned chefs to turn gastronomy into a creative art and exceptional experience.”

The MICHELIN Guide Mexico 2024 also features nine recommended restaurants in Los Cabos, offering travelers a variety of culinary delights:
