Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has officially opened the doors to the Kimpton Claret Hotel. This new hotel is situated in the emerging Belleview Station neighborhood, providing a unique and upscale hospitality experience for both residents and visitors of South Denver.
“We are excited to open our doors as the first lifestyle boutique hotel in this area,” said General Manager Keith Siebenaler. “Belleview Station is a destination on the rise as it is perfectly located between Downtown Denver, the South Denver corridor, and Cherry Creek State Park, really capitalizing on the live, work, play trend in development. Our location in this vibrant neighborhood positions us to become a cultural hub for locals, frequent visitors, and newcomers to the area.”

The Kimpton Claret Hotel features a striking design across its 19 floors, blending contrasting elements like chunky knits with supple leather, warm woods with cool metals, and textural plaster with smooth stone. Bespoke furniture, curated art, and rich textures create an inviting and evocative atmosphere.
The hotel offers 190 guest rooms designed with a minimal aesthetic and a calming palette of gray, beige, and cream. The rooms include warm accents such as wool throws, modern artwork, and large picture windows that showcase views of Denver and the mountains. Among these rooms are four suites, including two specialty suites, one with a dining area and wet bar.
Saverina, the ground floor restaurant, offers Italian-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using sustainable, local, and organic ingredients. Executive Chef Christian Graves has crafted a menu that highlights the best of Italy while embracing Colorado’s seasonal offerings. The restaurant features an open and airy design with a display kitchen, large windows, and street-front views, incorporating organic materials like exposed brick, black steel, blonde wood, marble, and leather.
The Halo Rooftop Bar, located on the 19th floor, has become a sought-after destination in Belleview Station. It features crafted cocktails, elevated bar classics, live music, and stunning Rocky Mountain views. The bar offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a dynamic design that includes a dark palette accented by bright yellows and electric purples, and textures of leather, velvet, and animal print. The large outdoor terrace with fire pits and lounge seating provides a relaxing atmosphere under the night sky.
In the lobby, guests are greeted by a hand-finished fireplace, a sculptural steel reception desk, numerous gathering spaces, the Saverina bar, and a grand wood staircase leading to the second-floor meeting spaces. The hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meeting space for groups of up to 250 people, including two ballrooms, a boardroom, pre-function space, and an outdoor terrace. The meeting spaces are designed to be simple and elegant, with warm accents like artwork, mirrors, and custom light fixtures.
Kimpton Claret Hotel offers various amenities, including pet-friendly accommodations, luxurious robes, yoga mats in every room, daily social hour, and participation in the “plant pals” program.
Located at 6985 E. Chenango Ave. in the Belleview Station neighborhood, the Kimpton Claret Hotel provides easy access to downtown Denver via the light rail.
