The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has introduced Ilma, its second luxury superyacht, further expanding its presence in high-end ocean travel. Ilma set sail on its maiden voyage on September 2, embarking on a 7-night journey from Monte Carlo to Rome.
This 790-foot yacht, with 224 suites, all featuring private terraces, is designed to offer guests an intimate connection to the sea, stopping at exclusive destinations across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Northern Europe.
Jim Murren, CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, praised Ilma as a continuation of the company’s dedication to luxury at sea, following the success of Evrima.

Ilma’s itinerary includes destinations like Santorini, Porto Cervo, Valletta, and Caribbean gems such as Virgin Gorda and St. John. In 2025, it will venture into the North and Baltic Seas for the first time, visiting cities like Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Reykjavík.
The yacht accommodates 448 guests, featuring an exceptional guest-to-crew ratio. Designed by AD Associates and Aivan, Ilma combines sophisticated interiors with seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. Inspired by Maltese mythology, its design blends neutral tones with elegant finishes.
Ilma offers five dining venues, including two created by Michelin-starred chefs Fabio Trabocchi and Michael Mina. Guests can enjoy modern Italian fine dining at Seta su Ilma and a Peruvian-inspired menu at The Beach House, among other world-class culinary options.
Onboard amenities include The Ritz-Carlton Spa, three fitness studios, and the signature Marina and Marina Terrace, which offers direct sea access.
Ilma’s debut marks a significant step forward for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, showcasing its commitment to luxury and personalized service at sea. Reservations are now available through the company’s website or travel professionals.
