IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with MGC Developments to open Holiday Inn & Suites Islamabad DHA II, a 150-room hotel set to debut in August 2028.
This marks IHG’s growing presence in Pakistan, with the hotel featuring the brand’s innovative Open Lobby concept, blending work, dining, and relaxation spaces for modern travelers.

Haitham Mattar, IHG’s Managing Director for India, the Middle East, and Africa, emphasized the strategic importance of Islamabad, citing its scenic beauty and cultural appeal. MGC CEO Ch.
Nouman Iftikhar highlighted the venture’s role in supporting Pakistan’s hospitality sector and economic growth.
The hotel will offer various amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, fitness center, pool, spa, and the popular “Kids Stay and Eat Free” program.
Located in DHA Phase II, it provides easy access to attractions like Faisal Mosque and Shakarparian National Park. IHG currently operates 193 hotels across the region, with 160 more in development.
