IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of its first voco hotel on the Sunshine Coast, the voco Maroochydore Sunshine Coast, in partnership with Sydney-based developer Felix Capital.
The upscale 153-room property, set to open in 2028 on Ocean Street, aims to enhance Maroochydore’s accommodation offerings and meet the region’s need for premium full-service hotels.
This project aligns with the Sunshine Coast’s vision for growth ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, where increased accommodation options will be crucial to hosting international visitors.
