The Garner brand, introduced during IHG’s Turkish Investor Day just a month prior, is gaining momentum worldwide with 79 signings and four openings. Garner hotels focus on providing guests with relaxed, purposefully different experiences at competitive prices, offering flexible design standards for investors and efficient conversion costs.

The new hotel will cater to transient travelers, leveraging its prime location near one of the world’s busiest airports, Istanbul International, which handles over 64 million passengers annually.

Willemijn Geels, Vice President of Development for Europe at IHG, highlighted the strong investor confidence in the brand, citing the collaboration with FRT Turizm and AB Consulting as pivotal.

FRT Turizm board members Fırat and Vedat Çelebi expressed excitement about welcoming travelers to the new Garner hotel, emphasizing its convenience for those seeking quick, easy stays before airport departures.

Türkiye remains a key market for IHG, which currently operates 31 hotels across five brands and has 12 more in the pipeline.
