IHG® Hotels & Resorts has announced a management agreement with Aaraki Hotels & Resorts to develop Holiday Inn Resort Dharamshala, a 150-key property set to open in Q3 2027.
Located in the scenic Himalayan town of Dharamshala, this latest signing highlights IHG’s commitment to expanding its leisure portfolio in India’s growing travel destinations.

Nestled at an altitude of approximately 5,000 feet, Dharamshala is renowned for its breathtaking views, favorable climate, and spiritual significance as the residence of the Dalai Lama. The destination also boasts one of the world’s most iconic cricket stadiums and has been selected as one of India’s 100 Smart Cities, emphasizing its potential for sustainable growth and enhanced connectivity.
