IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched the Shanghai Snow World Hotel, part of its Vignette Collection, within the Guinness World Records-certified “World’s Largest Indoor Ski Facility” at Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort.
This marks the first new-build Vignette Collection property in China, featuring 272 rooms and 17 suites with direct access to over 90,000 square meters of indoor snow, offering year-round skiing and snow recreation.

A Unique Year-Round Ski Retreat
Located just 30km from Shanghai Disney and Pudong Airport, the hotel provides skiing enthusiasts and leisure travelers with premium amenities, including fast-track slope access, an indoor and outdoor water park, and a tournament-level ice rink. Dining options include four restaurants and bars, such as Teppanyaki and The Peak, both offering panoramic views of the indoor winter wonderland.
The hotel also features a fitness center, indoor heated pool, and eight versatile meeting rooms for corporate and social events.
Signature Experiences and Local Engagement
Guests can participate in the hotel’s “Engraved Ceremony,” a bespoke Après-ski gathering held in the lobby each Friday and Saturday, offering treats like butter beer and hot chocolate. This ritual reflects the Vignette Collection’s hallmark “Memorable Rituals,” connecting guests to the property’s unique identity.
As part of its commitment to the community, the hotel is partnering with the Shanghai Lingang Public Welfare Foundation to launch the “Assistance Program for Youth in Need,” providing skills training and support for local underprivileged youth.
