IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its wellness-focused EVEN Hotels brand in the Middle East, starting with the signing of EVEN Hotel Dammam.

This milestone agreement—finalized during the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh—marks the brand’s regional debut and a new chapter in IHG’s expansion across Saudi Arabia.

Slated to open in January 2029, the 300-room property will be located in Dammam’s King Abdullah Civic Center, placing guests near key government offices, cultural landmarks, and commercial areas.

Developed in partnership with Marassi Al Bahr Development Company, a subsidiary of Al Khaldi Holding, the hotel will serve as a lifestyle-driven destination tailored to modern travelers seeking wellness and balance on the go.

EVEN Hotel Dammam will reflect the brand’s signature approach to integrated well-being. Every room will feature a wellness zone, offering either in-room fitness equipment or calming spaces for relaxation.

Guests can take advantage of the Athletic Studio for strength and cardio, the Soul Studio for yoga and mindful movement, as well as spa services and health-forward dining options. Social and workspaces will fluidly adapt to guest needs, blending productivity with serenity in an environment inspired by biophilic design.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director for IHG in India, the Middle East & Africa, emphasized that the launch aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, catering to travelers who value lifestyle and authenticity as much as comfort. The project embodies IHG’s strategy to blend holistic and active wellness into everyday travel.

This move strengthens IHG’s foothold in Saudi Arabia, where the company already operates 45 hotels and has 47 more in the pipeline. EVEN Hotel Dammam is a significant step in expanding lifestyle hospitality in the region, tapping into Dammam’s dual appeal to both business and leisure travelers.
