IHG Hotels & Resorts signs *Bristol Berlin* as Germany’s first Vignette Collection hotel, bringing luxury, unique character, and global hospitality to an iconic Berlin landmark.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection, marking the brand’s expansion into Germany.

Part of Aroundtown’s extensive portfolio, the hotel will join IHG’s rapidly growing Vignette Collection, a luxury and lifestyle brand designed to maintain each property’s unique character while benefiting from IHG’s global reach.

Since launching in 2021, Vignette Collection has experienced rapid growth, surpassing the halfway point of its goal to reach 100 hotels by 2030.

With this latest addition, IHG continues to strengthen its presence in Germany, where it currently operates 147 hotels with 75 more in development.

First opened in 1952, Bristol Berlin is a historic landmark on Kurfürstendamm, one of the city’s most iconic avenues. The hotel’s prime location places guests in the heart of Berlin, surrounded by theaters, architectural landmarks, and luxury shopping.

Once rebranded, it will feature 303 rooms, an all-day brasserie, a stylish lobby lounge and bar, a spa with a swimming pool, and 1,500 sqm of meeting and event space.

Willemijn Geels, Vice President of Development, Europe, at IHG Hotels & Resorts, highlighted IHG’s commitment to growing its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Germany, stating: “As one of our priority markets, we’ve made significant investments to support our owners, from strengthening our enterprise to enhancing marketing and loyalty programs.”

Kamaldeep Manaktala, CEO of Hotels of Aroundtown, emphasized the partnership’s potential: “We’ve revitalized the hotel through extensive renovations and a refreshed restaurant concept. Now, with the strength of a global brand, we are taking it to new heights.”

With this signing, Bristol Berlin, Vignette Collection continues IHG’s expansion in Germany, following the brand’s first German property in Reit im Winkl. The partnership underscores IHG’s commitment to blending individuality with global hospitality excellence.
