IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection is making its South American debut with SOUMA Hotel Lima in Peru.
Nestled in Lima’s scenic Miraflores district overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the hotel, operated by Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, is now open for reservations ahead of its March 2025 launch.
Leanne Harwood, IHG’s SVP of Luxury & Lifestyle Americas, highlighted Peru’s cultural richness and the hotel’s role in expanding Vignette Collection’s presence, joining unique properties in destinations like Bangkok, Lisbon, and Dubai.

SOUMA Hotel Lima blends modern minimalism with natural elements, inspired by Peru’s Pacaya Samiria Nature Reserve. Its 214 guest rooms, free of single-use plastics, feature light wood, cotton, linen, and floor-to-ceiling windows for a serene, eco-conscious experience. The hotel offers immersive guest experiences, including rooftop Sunrise Yoga Sessions and daily pisco cocktail tastings at sunset.
Sustainability is a core focus, with initiatives aimed at waste reduction, responsible fishing, and coastal conservation. The hotel was Lima’s first to eliminate single-use plastics and partners with waste processing companies to enhance its environmental impact.
Culinary experiences include Ortega & Huamán’s fusion of Peruvian and Mediterranean flavors, 27 Tapas’ Spanish-Peruvian dishes with live music, and Kimo’s Japanese Nikkei seafood menu. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop infinity pool, Bambu Spa, a 24-hour gym, and dedicated event spaces.
Vignette Collection is on track to reach 100 hotels within a decade, with future openings in Mexico and Oregon. SOUMA Hotel Lima is now taking reservations for March 2025 stays.
