The resort, which features 30 overwater villas and 20 beachfront villas, will offer guests an elevated experience with access to world-class amenities, including a diving and watersports centre, spa, and several dining options. Chris Anklin, Senior Director of Development for South East Asia and Korea at IHG Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the significance of this partnership, emphasizing the Vignette Collection’s commitment to creating unique, authentic travel experiences.
He noted that the Maldives, renowned for its rich marine life and top-tier dive sites, is an ideal location to expand the brand’s presence.
Roxy-Pacific Holdings’ Deputy CEO, Chris Teo, expressed confidence in the collaboration, citing the Maldives’ growing appeal as a sustainable tourism destination. Teo noted that Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection, will maintain its distinctive identity while benefiting from IHG’s global scale and loyalty program, IHG One Rewards.
Launched in 2021, the Vignette Collection has rapidly expanded globally, with 18 hotels now under its banner, including properties in Lisbon, Liverpool, Bangkok, Phuket, Dubai, and Brisbane. The addition of Noku Maldives further strengthens IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, offering a diverse range of experiences to meet the needs of every traveler.
