IHG Hotels & Resorts has surpassed 200 open hotels in Northern Europe, marking significant growth with new openings and brand debuts across Germany, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, and Belgium.

Key highlights include the debut of the luxury boutique Kimpton and midscale Garner brands in Germany later this year, as well as the introduction of the Candlewood Suites extended-stay brand in early 2025.

Germany will see several new developments, including Kimpton Frankfurt Main and multiple Holiday Inn – the niu properties, while Poland welcomes voco Katowice and Hotel Indigo Krakow.

In Hungary, Kimpton BEM Budapest and Verno House under the Vignette Collection have already opened, and voco debuts in Sweden with voco Stockholm – Kista.

IHG continues to grow its luxury, lifestyle, and premium portfolios, with further pipeline projects across Europe.
