IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened its first Hotel Indigo resort in the Middle East, located in Oman’s Jabal Akhdar mountain range.
The Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa features 173 rooms, suites, and chalets, all offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape 2,000 meters above sea level.

Just a two-hour drive from Muscat, the resort combines luxury with local culture, offering guests experiences such as hiking through terraced gardens and exploring ancient villages. The design reflects the natural beauty and heritage of the region.
The resort includes Jala Spa & Wellness, offering treatments inspired by Omani traditions, as well as three dining venues: Vue Rooftop & Lounge, Wadi Habib, and Zaatar.
This marks a significant milestone for IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand, known for its neighborhood-focused designs, with over 158 locations worldwide. The resort opened on September 1, 2024.
