IHG Hotels & Resorts has solidified its reputation for culinary excellence with seven of its restaurants across Greater China earning spots in the prestigious 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.
This includes three first-time entries that received the coveted “One-Diamond Restaurant” title:
The Grove at Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou, Riva Mediterranean Steakhouse at InterContinental Suzhou, and Wu Yue No.1 Chinese Restaurant at InterContinental Wuxi.

These new additions reflect IHG’s commitment to innovation in fine dining:
- The Grove showcases the rich flavors of Suzhou and Huaiyang cuisine with modern creativity.
- Riva Mediterranean Steakhouse introduces Mediterranean-style steakhouse dining to Suzhou, featuring imported steaks, dry-aged beef, and a curated wine list.
- Wu Yue No.1 blends traditional Huaiyang and Cantonese cuisines with contemporary techniques.
Four returning restaurants, including Shang Tao in Kunming, Lai Ching Heen in Hong Kong, Cai Feng Lou in Xi’an, and Robin’s Grill and Teppanyaki in Chongqing, continue to demonstrate IHG’s dedication to exceptional culinary experiences.
