IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in Orlando, Florida, set to open in 2028.
Developed in partnership with Flag Luxury Group and Unicorp National Developments, the InterContinental Orlando will be located on International Drive and will feature 700 guestrooms, including 84 suites, along with five restaurants and bars.
The hotel will offer 15,000 square feet of spa and wellness amenities, including a pool and fitness center, as well as 106,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Guests can expect elevated luxury experiences that reflect the InterContinental brand’s commitment to sophistication and cultural richness.
Jolyon Bulley, CEO of IHG Americas, expressed excitement about bringing the InterContinental brand to Orlando, a city known for its vibrant entertainment scene.
Paul Kanavos, CEO of Flag Luxury Group, emphasized the collaboration’s goal to enhance Orlando’s hospitality offerings with unparalleled luxury and unforgettable experiences. This will be the third InterContinental property in Florida, further expanding the brand’s presence in key U.S. destinations.
