IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed The Windsor Hotel TOYA Resort & Spa to its Vignette Collection, marking the brand’s second property in Japan and its debut in Hokkaido.
The 386-room landmark, known for its stunning views of Lake Toya and the Pacific Ocean, joins IHG’s luxury portfolio in the coming months.

Owned by Meiji Shipping Group, the hotel boasts extensive amenities, including nine dining outlets, eight meeting rooms, a wedding chapel, and hot spring baths. Its rich history includes hosting the 34th G8 Summit in 2008.
Abhijay Sandilya, CEO of IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan, called the partnership a key step in strengthening IHG’s presence in Hokkaido, a renowned destination for scenic beauty and nature-focused activities.
The Windsor Hotel TOYA will be IHG’s fifth property in Hokkaido and part of Vignette Collection’s global network of unique, culturally rich hotels offering authentic, experiential luxury.
