Ice Rodeo is returning to Austin for its third year, offering more winter fun at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin from November 22, 2024, to January 5, 2025. The hotel will transform into a festive wonderland with plenty of activities for all ages.
One of the main attractions is the 3,360 square foot ice-skating rink overlooking Lady Bird Lake, complete with state-of-the-art cooling to maintain perfect conditions despite Texas weather.

After skating, guests can relax at The Point, an outdoor lounge with food trucks, festive cocktails, and communal fire pits for roasting s’mores. Tickets include a one-hour skating session and access to all the Ice Rodeo activities, with hours and details available online.
Rinkside cabins, available for rent, offer cozy retreats for up to six guests, featuring lodge-inspired décor and luxurious amenities. Starting at $350 for two hours, guests can add on food and drink packages, including champagne, cocktails, and tableside s’mores.
A candy shop will also pop up rinkside, perfect for holiday gifts or indulging in artisanal chocolates and festive treats. Meanwhile, the hotel will be draped in holiday décor, featuring thousands of twinkling lights, a lighted tunnel of stars, and a 30-foot Christmas tree. Inside, Executive Pastry Chef Amanda Pallagi-Naim’s team will create an elaborate gingerbread display, with this year’s theme paying homage to Four Seasons properties worldwide. Proceeds from sponsorships of edible replicas will benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center.
For a holiday drink with a view, guests can visit “The Deck,” a pop-up lounge on the hotel bar’s balcony serving martinis and oysters, or make reservations for the exclusive Hidden Flask speakeasy in the hotel’s Congressional Suite.
Other seasonal offerings include the return of “Holiday A-Tea-X,” a festive afternoon tea, and winter spa treatments like the Fire and Ice Facial and Chocolate Winter Mint Body Experience. Those looking for a longer stay can enjoy 20% off with the Winter Escape package, which includes special winter amenities.
