ICE!, the renowned frozen holiday attraction, has announced its 2024 Christmas season lineup, featuring the debut of its magical experience in San Antonio, Texas. Beginning this November, the 24-year-old tradition created by Gaylord Hotels will be hosted at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, among other locations. Each venue will showcase 2 million pounds of intricately hand-carved ice sculptures, bringing beloved Christmas classics to life, including Elf™ and Frosty the Snowman™.
Winter Wonderland Experience
Visitors at each ICE! destination will be immersed in a winter wonderland featuring more than 10 walk-through scenes, two-story ice slides, and awe-inspiring passageways, creating photo-worthy moments for the entire family. The attraction is masterfully crafted by 240 artisans from Harbin, China, known for the world-famous Harbin Ice Festival. Over 40 days, these craftsmen carve 12 million pounds of ice across six locations, transforming nearly 120,000 square feet into vibrant, icy spectacles kept at a brisk 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Guests will stay warm in the attraction’s signature blue parkas.
