Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Shebandowan Holdings, S.A. have announced the forthcoming Hotel La Compañía del Valle in El Valle de Antón, Panama.
Scheduled to open in early 2025, the luxury property will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, blending art, wellness, and nature in a serene mountain setting.
Nestled within the crater of an extinct volcano, the hotel will feature a unique sculpture park, an 18,000-square-foot Elysium Spa offering Roman baths, chocolate and wine therapies, and a saltwater pool.

Guests can explore nearby hiking trails, such as La India Dormida and Cerro Gaital, or enjoy activities like e-biking and horseback riding.
The hotel’s design, inspired by Tuscan retreats, includes 70 rooms with balconies and terraces overlooking lush landscapes.
Its three dining concepts—FUEGO, TERRA, and TIEMPO—will showcase seasonal, locally sourced cuisine. Event spaces, including the Plaza Auditorium, will cater to memorable celebrations and gatherings.
“Hotel La Compañía del Valle expands our presence in Panama, offering guests a chance to explore a hidden gem surrounded by natural beauty,” said Camilo Bolaños, Hyatt’s SVP for Latin America & Caribbean.
The hotel will complement its sister property, Hotel La Compañía in Casco Antiguo, providing guests with seamless access between the city and countryside for an enriched Panamanian experience.
