Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Alila Shanghai, offering a luxurious urban retreat in the heart of the Jing’an district.
The hotel provides guests with exclusive access to Zhangyuan, a restored complex of shikumen townhouses repurposed as luxury retail spaces.
Designed by Ju Bin, the hotel features 186 rooms, including 94 suites, that combine Shanghai’s cultural heritage with modern luxury.

Dining highlights include 500 Weihai Road, led by Michelin-recognized Chef Scott Bao, and Secret Roof, a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city.
Wellness options at Spa Alila include holistic treatments and a Turkish bath, while the hotel also offers versatile event spaces totaling 3,282 square feet.
World of Hyatt members can earn 500 Bonus Points for stays between September 25 and December 31, 2024, as part of a special promotion celebrating the opening.
