Hyatt Centric Malta debuts in St. Julian’s, offering travelers a vibrant Mediterranean escape near scenic beaches, Valletta’s heritage sites, and inspired local cuisine.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has launched Hyatt Centric Malta, the first of its brand on the island, marking a milestone in Hyatt’s Mediterranean expansion and bringing its European Hyatt Centric count to seven.

Strategically located in St. Julian’s, a lively resort town on Malta’s coast, the new property places guests close to the marina, renowned dining spots, scenic beaches, and notable dive sites like the Blue Hole and Blue Lagoon.

Just seven miles from Valletta, Malta’s UNESCO World Heritage capital, the hotel is ideal for travelers eager to explore Malta’s rich history and natural beauty.

Designed with Malta’s culture in mind, the 170-room hotel features modern, airy interiors inspired by the island’s colors and textures, from bronze-accented blue doors reminiscent of traditional Maltese homes to earthy tones that evoke the local landscape. Each room blends contemporary style with comfort, providing an inviting space for travelers to unwind.

Dining at the hotel’s restaurant, JUMU, offers a taste of Malta with locally-inspired dishes like il-tarja moqlija and torta tal-laham, alongside signature JUMU mqaret. The menu combines traditional flavors with modern flair, served in a Mediterranean-style ambiance.

Guests can enjoy leisure amenities, including a rooftop pool with panoramic sea views, an indoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a treatment room, and a well-equipped gym. For events, Hyatt Centric Malta offers 1,808 square feet of meeting space with three dedicated rooms, making it a versatile venue for gatherings and corporate functions.
