Hyatt Hotels Corporation has revealed plans to open Jakarta’s first Andaz hotel, situated in the heart of the city’s central business district. Partnering with PT Central Sudirman Development, the new establishment will be a key feature of the Two Sudirman Jakarta development, one of Indonesia’s tallest skyscraper projects, scheduled to debut in early 2028.
This announcement marks the introduction of the Andaz brand to urban Indonesia, complementing the existing Andaz Bali resort. Andaz Jakarta Sudirman will occupy the 40th to 72nd floors of Tower A, offering stunning views of the city. The hotel’s interiors, designed by Tokyo-based Studio Spin, will include 198 rooms and 167 serviced apartments, alongside amenities such as the Andaz Lounge, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and a top-floor specialty restaurant.

David Udell, Hyatt’s group president for Asia Pacific, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting Hyatt’s long-standing presence in Indonesia. He emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its luxury, lifestyle, and leisure offerings.
Hendra Lubis, President Director of PT Central Sudirman Development, noted the project’s ambition to blend luxury with authentic local experiences, setting a new benchmark for hospitality in Jakarta. The Two Sudirman Jakarta development will also feature residences, retail spaces, offices, and extensive transport links, including MRT, LRT, and direct airport connectivity.
