Hyatt announces the first Andaz hotel in Australia, opening mid-2025 on the Gold Coast with 202 rooms, rooftop pool, and dining, as part of The Star Gold Coast’s luxury development.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for the first Andaz hotel in Australia, Andaz Gold Coast, slated to open in mid-2025.

Located at The Star Gold Coast, part of a AU$2 billion integrated resort development, the luxury lifestyle hotel will feature 202 guest rooms, a rooftop pool deck, three dining outlets, and stunning views of Broadbeach.

The project, a joint venture with The Star Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium, and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, will showcase contemporary design by DBI Architects and Hachem, inspired by the Gold Coast’s dynamic sunlight transitions.

This marks a significant addition to Hyatt’s portfolio in Australia, complementing its existing properties under brands like Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt.
