Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Shebandowan Holdings, S.A. have announced the opening of Hotel La Compañía del Valle, a luxury retreat in Panama’s scenic Valle de Antón.
As part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, the hotel offers an art and wellness-focused experience within the crater of an extinct volcano, 50 miles west of Panama City.
With 40 guestrooms now open and 30 more debuting by May 2025, the hotel blends Tuscan-inspired design with breathtaking natural surroundings.

Guests can explore a curated sculpture park featuring 200 artworks, relax at the 18,000-square-foot Elysium Spa, and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, horseback riding, and pickleball.
Dining is led by Michelin-trained Executive Chef Patrice Jaumon, offering three concept-driven restaurants inspired by fire, earth, and wind. Additional amenities include an infinity pool, tennis courts, and over 11,000 square feet of event space.
