The concept, developed through extensive research into travel trends, incorporates vibrant social zones such as the EXPRESS Café & Bar, quiet workspaces, and sensorial design elements. These spaces cater to modern travelers seeking dynamic, immersive experiences while also reflecting the unique aesthetic of each destination.
Generation 5 prioritizes accessibility, working with a disability task force to enhance navigation of public spaces, and offers scalability for owners to ensure cost efficiency and strong returns. The design debuts in Saudi Arabia with Holiday Inn Express Riyadh in 2026, with several projects planned across Europe and beyond.
With over 3,200 hotels globally and a growing pipeline, Holiday Inn Express continues to lead the market by blending style, comfort, and smart design for mainstream travelers.
