The former James NoMad Hotel has officially transitioned to Hotel Seville NoMad, now part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
Spearheaded by Allen Gross, Chairman of GFI Hospitality, the rebrand includes a property refresh that will restore the hotel’s early 20th century grandeur while introducing modern enhancements such as a new lobby bar, Il Bar, and a suite of upgraded amenities.

Located in Manhattan’s NoMad district, the 348-room Beaux Arts building originally built in 1903 will blend vintage charm with contemporary design. Renovated guest rooms will feature rich textures, vintage-inspired furnishings, and curated art celebrating travel.
General Manager Tommasi Moccia describes the hotel as “a dynamic destination where timeless elegance meets modern luxury,” appealing to both locals and global travelers with elevated experiences.
Guests can enjoy Italian cuisine at the renowned Scarpetta, live jazz and DJs at speakeasy-style The Seville, and signature cocktails at Il Bar, which debuted in early 2025.
The hotel also offers flexible event spaces, including a ballroom and intimate meeting rooms, with catering by Scarpetta.
With its central location and historic ambiance, Hotel Seville NoMad aims to be a cultural and culinary hub within the evolving NoMad neighborhood. Guests can also enjoy Hyatt perks, including the World of Hyatt rewards program.
