LONDON, UK – Hilton Expands Portfolio in Portugal with Two New Openings
Today, Hilton proudly announces the opening of two new properties: DUO Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores, as the company continues its expansion in Portugal.

DUO Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton
Location and Concept
Perfectly situated in the vibrant Cais do Sodré neighborhood, DUO Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton, is the ideal base to explore iconic sites, including the city’s famous ‘Pink Street’ and Mercado da Ribeira. The hotel offers a unique experience through its “duo” concept, which harmoniously combines a traditional nineteenth-century building with a more modern construction, interconnected by a courtyard that will host events throughout the year.

The hotel features 75 well-appointed rooms with stunning views of the Tagus River and the charming houses of Lisbon. Each room is finished with locally inspired decor, including tiled headboards hand-painted in the Viúva Lamego factory, showcasing Portuguese ceramic tradition.

Guests can enjoy exceptional culinary experiences in collaboration with established Chef Marlene Viera. The hotel’s restaurant, Novo Mundo, serves traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern twist, while The Voyage pastry shop offers Portuguese delicacies and sweet treats. DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores
Location and Scenic Views
Set on the island of São Miguel in the Azores, DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores marks Hilton’s debut in the region. The hotel is ideally located just a 10-minute drive from Ponta Delgada and overlooks the ocean, providing easy access to key sights like the Gorreana Tea Factory, Lagoa das Sete Cidades, and Lagoa do Fogo.

The hotel offers 101 rooms and suites with panoramic views of the island’s landscapes and Atlantic Ocean coastline. On-site amenities include a restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar, a pool, and a wellness space.
