Hilton is on track to hit a major milestone this spring with the opening of its 1,000th hotel in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, highlighting rapid growth driven by new brand expansions and strategic partnerships.
The company plans to grow its EMEA presence by 50% over the next five years, backed by a robust pipeline of over 450 hotels.
Momentum continues with the introduction of Tempo by Hilton in EMEA, a lifestyle brand designed for modern travellers focused on wellness and balance.

Initial openings will include Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre, Lisbon Parque das Nações, and Reykjavik, each offering thoughtfully designed rooms, flexible social spaces, and wellness-centric amenities.
Meanwhile, Spark by Hilton, Hilton’s fast-growing premium economy brand, is expanding further across the region.
Following its debut in London in 2024, Spark will enter Spain and Türkiye with upcoming properties in Madrid Alcalá and Van City Centre. These conversion-friendly hotels will offer key Spark features like the Hydration Cart and 24-hour retail markets.

Recent openings—such as Signia by Hilton Amman, Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof, and Spark by Hilton Stuttgart Sindelfingen—along with future launches including Sax Paris, Hilton Turin Centre, and The Marcus Hotel Portrush, are accelerating Hilton’s regional momentum.
Hilton’s growth is further bolstered by its alliance with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), expanding luxury offerings and making 19 of Hilton’s 24 global brands accessible to its 210 million Hilton Honors members, who enjoy benefits such as contactless check-in, exclusive discounts, and rewards.
