Hilton has officially announced its first Tempo by Hilton property in Canada, with the upcoming Tempo by Hilton Toronto Airport set to open in 2028.
The 193-room new-build hotel will be developed by Toronto-based Inspiration Group and located just minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport, anchoring a multi-use complex designed for today’s modern traveler.

Part of Hilton’s growing lifestyle portfolio, Tempo by Hilton is tailored to guests seeking both productivity and restoration.
The hotel will feature three distinct zones in each room—function, rest, and Get Ready—as well as spa-like bathrooms and “Power Down” in-room experiences with ambient lighting and blackout curtains to encourage quality rest. Select Tempo Wellness rooms will even include Peloton equipment for guests committed to maintaining their wellness routines on the road.
Amenities at the Toronto Airport location will include a Hydration Bar, coffee bar, and expansive fitness center with cardio, weights, and a recovery zone.
Guests will also have access to an indoor pool and over 3,000 square feet of event space, comprising two ballrooms and four meeting rooms—making it equally suitable for leisure and business stays.
As Hilton continues its Canadian expansion—expected to surpass 200 hotels this year—this new addition aligns with the brand’s strategy to meet evolving travel trends and deliver more lifestyle-focused accommodations.
The Tempo brand now has nearly 60 properties in development worldwide, including in cities like New York, Nashville, Belfast, Reykjavik, and Lisbon, with Toronto joining this growing list of cosmopolitan destinations.
Once open, the hotel will participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program, offering members exclusive benefits and flexible booking options.
