Hilton’s commitment to accessibility began in 2023 when it partnered with Be My Eyes to train its AI tool, “Be My AI,” powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4, to better recognize objects in Hilton hotels.

The initiative was expanded to include a specialized Hilton support team to help Be My Eyes users directly. This collaboration is part of Hilton’s broader “Safety for Everyone” initiative, aiming to create a welcoming experience for all guests.

Be My Eyes CEO Mike Buckley praised the partnership, noting how it breaks down accessibility barriers in travel. The partnership is part of Hilton’s ongoing efforts to accommodate guests with disabilities, earning the company recognition as a leading employer and top company for people with disabilities.

Guests can also access Hilton’s digital self-service tools, such as digital check-in and keyless room entry, for a fully adaptable travel experience.
