Hilton has announced the signing of two new properties in Italy, including the country’s first Canopy by Hilton in Milan and a new Hilton Garden Inn near Rome’s iconic Colosseum.
The deals, signed with Forimi Italia Spa of Gruppo Roscioli, reflect Hilton’s continued expansion in one of Europe’s most visited destinations.
Set to open later this year, Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo will introduce Hilton’s lifestyle brand to Italy with a 96-room boutique hotel on Via Torino.

The property will feature high-end amenities including a rooftop bar with panoramic city views, a restaurant, a lobby bar, wellness and fitness spaces, and indoor and outdoor pools.
The building, dating from the 1950s, combines Milan’s modern style with classic elements and offers immediate access to top attractions like the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and Palazzo Reale.
Meanwhile, Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum is scheduled to open in time for the 2026 summer season.
Located just over a kilometre from the Colosseum and Domus Aurea, the 181-room hotel will serve both business and leisure guests with amenities such as a fitness center, restaurant, and lobby bar. Its proximity to Roma Termini station and both Rome airports ensures easy citywide and international access.
Alan Mantin, Vice President of Development for Southern Europe at Hilton, said the new signings underscore Italy’s strategic importance to the brand, with 109 hotels currently operating or in the pipeline.
Guests will be able to enjoy Hilton Honors benefits at both new properties, including room upgrades, member discounts, and contactless check-in.
