Hilton has announced a strategic licensing agreement with NILE Hospitality to open 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels across India, further strengthening its midscale presence in the country. This expansion follows Hilton’s 2024 agreement to bring 150 Spark by Hilton hotels to India.
The first Hampton by Hilton properties will open in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Bihar, catering to the country’s growing middle class and booming domestic travel market.

The brand, known for its signature Hamptonality service, complimentary hot breakfast, and contemporary design, is the largest in Hilton’s portfolio, with over 3,000 hotels worldwide.
Alan Watts, President of Hilton Asia Pacific, highlighted India’s “significant macroeconomic growth” as a key driver for the expansion.
NILE Hospitality CEO Vikram Singh Chauhan called the partnership an opportunity to “redefine the midscale accommodation segment” and offer a consistent, high-quality experience across emerging markets.
The move builds on Hampton by Hilton’s success in Asia, particularly in China, and reinforces Hilton’s commitment to rapid growth in India. All new properties will participate in Hilton Honors, offering exclusive member benefits.
