Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced the signing of its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in China, scheduled to open in 2027 in the historic city of Xi’an. This milestone collaboration with Zhong Ding Guo Sheng marks the luxury brand’s debut in the Chinese market, expanding Hilton’s presence in the region’s high-end hospitality sector.
Situated in the vibrant Datang Everbright City, the hotel will be surrounded by cultural landmarks such as the Great Wild Goose Pagoda and Dayan Pagoda.
The 118-room property is designed to seamlessly blend traditional Eastern aesthetics with contemporary luxury, featuring Tang Dynasty–inspired architecture alongside modern amenities. Guests will enjoy tranquil spaces, including a sunken courtyard, while the hotel’s innovative design emphasizes symmetry and serenity.

The property will cater to discerning travelers with a range of luxury offerings, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, wellness experiences, and exceptional dining that reimagines local flavors through a modern lens. The debut of LXR Hotels & Resorts in China builds on Hilton’s established luxury presence in the region, which includes Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels & Resorts. With 33 luxury hotels currently operating and 21 in development, Hilton’s luxury portfolio in Greater China is set to double in the coming years.
