Hilton and American Express are joining forces to provide relief for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires by offering 20,000 free hotel room nights across the region.
The initiative, coordinated with Los Angeles nonprofit 211 LA, aims to shelter displaced individuals and families, as well as first responders battling the fires. Those in need can apply for accommodation through the nonprofit’s online application process.

With a strong history in Los Angeles, Hilton is dedicated to supporting the community during this crisis. Christopher J. Nassetta, Hilton’s CEO, emphasized the company’s commitment to helping those in need, while American Express CEO Stephen J. Squeri reaffirmed their shared mission to aid both immediate relief efforts and long-term recovery.
Hilton and American Express have a history of providing shelter during crises, having donated over 2 million room nights in the past five years.
Beyond accommodation, Hilton and its foundation are contributing to first responders by supporting organizations such as the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the International Association of Fire Fighters Foundation. Hilton Honors members can also contribute by donating points to relief organizations.
Across 80 hotels in the Los Angeles area, Hilton staff have been tirelessly ensuring guest safety and offering discounted rooms since the fires began. This partnership highlights the power of hospitality in addressing urgent community needs.
