This summer, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole unveils a series of exciting enhancements that draw inspiration from the frontier spirit of the American West and the breathtaking Teton mountain range.
These upgrades, spearheaded by the local design firm CLB Architects, include the introduction of the First Chair mountainside “grab and go” market, the intimate 80 Proof speakeasy, and a comprehensive renovation of the luxurious five-bedroom Granite Residence and Mountain Lounge.
General Manager Ryan Grande emphasizes the resort’s commitment to excellence and authenticity, stating, “For more than 20 years, Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole has welcomed guests to our luxurious mountain retreat.

These enhancements build upon our commitment to excellence – staying true to a sense of place and underscoring the frontier foundation of our home in Jackson Hole.” Grande adds that the new features, like the mountainside market and speakeasy, are designed to enhance guests’ experiences, whether they are exploring Teton Village or winding down after a day of adventure.
CLB Architects, a Jackson Hole-based firm renowned for its designs that resonate with the area’s natural beauty, took on the task of enhancing the property’s modern-mountain aesthetic. Sarah Kennedy, CLB’s Principal and Interior Design Director, explains, “Our design is inspired by the historical journey of the early settlers and Jackson residents, and the rich and vibrant heritage of the bars, banks, and eateries of the pioneering American West towns they frequented.” The design incorporates layers of texture and color that reflect the rugged yet refined spirit of the American West.
First Chair Grab and Go
The First Chair grab and go market is open daily and is named after the coveted “first chair” at ski resorts, symbolizing the thrill of being the first on the slopes. Adjacent to the Westbank Grill, this 490-square-foot space features a playful newsprint wall covering and heritage red tones, creating a cozy atmosphere.
Local artist Hayley Leeper contributed an “all-season” wrap design for the packaging, capturing the essence of both summer and winter activities. Guests can start their day with pastries, light bites, locally roasted coffee, and fresh-pressed juices, or swing by later for cocktails, mocktails, sandwiches, and sweet treats crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Rhonda Ashton.
80 Proof Speakeasy
For a more intimate and unique experience, guests can visit the 80 Proof speakeasy, a 750-square-foot hideaway behind a concealed painting. Designed to accommodate up to 30 guests, this space is adorned with rich colors, an elegantly tiled bar, leather chairs, and custom toile wall coverings.
The speakeasy offers a curated mixology menu with both classic and zero-proof cocktails, all inspired by the American frontier. Guests can enjoy these drinks alongside a selection of light bites, in a setting that exudes nostalgia and sophistication. The speakeasy is open daily from 5:00 to 11:00 pm.
Granite Residence Renovation
The Granite Residence, the resort’s signature five-bedroom suite, has undergone a full renovation, reflecting a modern mountain aesthetic. The 4,355-square-foot space combines taupe, earthy browns, and rich greens with textures of leather, denim, and wood, creating an elegant yet comfortable environment. With two living areas, a large outdoor terrace offering panoramic mountain views, a dining room, and five separate bedrooms, the Granite Residence is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking for a luxurious retreat.
Mountain Club and Lounge
Additionally, the resort has launched an expanded Mountain Club Membership program, featuring a newly repositioned member’s lounge with ski-in/ski-out access. The 814-square-foot lounge offers daily breakfast, lunch, après-ski options, and a full bar, all complemented by the renowned Four Seasons service.
The new member locker room, encompassing 1,257 square feet, includes individual heated elements for boots and gloves and storage for up to four pairs of skis. Memberships are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to inquire directly with the resort.
These enhancements at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole not only elevate the guest experience but also deepen the connection to the region’s rich history and natural beauty, offering an authentic and luxurious retreat in the heart of the American West.
