Planning a getaway to this stunning corner of Mexico has never been more convenient, thanks to two new direct flight routes offered through a collaboration between Delta Airlines and Aeromexico.

The Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, recently recognized as one of the Best New Hotels of 2024 by AFAR Magazine, celebrates the launch of these direct flights from Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles, California, providing easier access just in time for the holiday season. This makes it simpler than ever for travelers to enjoy the unparalleled luxury and natural beauty of Tamarindo.

Beginning November 2 and continuing through April 27, 2025, Delta Airlines and Aeromexico will offer a new weekly direct flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO). This route significantly shortens travel time by up to eight hours, depending on the departure city, and eliminates layovers in Mexico City, making the customs process smoother and quicker upon arrival in Manzanillo.

This new route is particularly beneficial for travelers from major East Coast, Midwest, and Southern cities such as New York City, Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis, Columbus, Detroit, and Miami, offering them a seamless journey to this pristine Mexican destination.

In addition, a second direct flight will be available weekly on Saturdays from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO), starting December 21, 2024. This year-round service provides enhanced connectivity for West Coast passengers, including those traveling from San Francisco, San Jose, and Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled to improve accessibility to Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo with these new direct flights from Atlanta and Los Angeles, thanks to our partnership with Delta and Aeromexico,” said Felix Murillo, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo. “With a notable 60 percent increase in international flights landing at Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport, these direct routes not only reduce travel time but also highlight our regional commitment to offering exceptional experiences from the beginning of our guests’ journeys to their arrival and the short 30-minute drive to our resort.”
